The ever-changing face of bass music has stumbled upon a mongrel breed of hip-hop artist, who’s passion for the EDM (Electronic Dance Music) scene has spilled over into raves and clubs. As the global youth culture looks to young UK artists for inspiration, Synikall's take on urban music mashes up House, Dub and R&B influences covering all bases and setting dance floors on fire with addictive bass.
From the humble beginnings of Birmingham, UK, Synikall's first taste of the music scene was as a DJ & MC in the party capital of Europe Ayia Napa. After returning to the UK, Synikall started to make his assault on UK urban music, gaining regular video rotation on Channel AKA and featuring on a nationally distributed mixtape compilation alongside heavyweights such as Dizzie Rascal, Wiley etc.
Off the back of his first underground release 'In.Public', Synikall performed alongside the likes of Professor Green & Labrinth throughout 2011/2012 and in turn, started working with major names in underground music such as Club Asylum and global artists The Freestylers, who had him feature on their latest album 'The Coming Storm'.
It was that feature that caught the ear of A&R at Rub A Duck / Black Hole Recordings who are set to release his new EP entitled 'Shut Ur Trap' which draws in house and hip hop influences with an underlying theme of trap beats and bass to make your sub thump.
