Boris Mijolic, known by his artist name Mass Digital / Sunset District was born on 13 February 1987. in Novi Sad, Serbia. This Serbian born music purist is making huge waves in the underground house/techno genre, upsetting the status quo by proving what is possible when one combines undisputed talent, a great deal of passion for music and vast determination. Hailing from Northern Serbia, Boris developed a deep rooted love for electronic music during his teenage years listening to father's vinyls and tapes all day.
Lately he has won few remix contests, including a big remix contest by top label BluFin for Tomy DeClerque's track "Lowin". His sound stretches somewhere between house and techno, whilst respectfully treading the line between commercial and credible underground.
And also Boris served a bund of great Tracks for our Compilations
The time has come to make something own with him, he is an great new talent and we are more than happy to have him on board
Dimitri Kechagias review: Yellow Tail, the sublabel of BluFIN is back with the brand new release by Mass Digital. His EP includes the beautiful Into Your Eyes & Let Me Feel Your Love Again. Into Your Eyes is perfectly in tune with the current trend of deep house meets tech house tracks that seems to be appreciated by many. The whole production sounds quite minimal and basic and in that way the sound take us back in the early 90's when the electronic dance music sound was warmer and more about nice grooves and rhythm rather than cheep thrills and easy to digest excitement The female vocal is quite understated and stays in the background creating that underground atmosphere. Let Me Feel Your Love Again sounds to be heavily influenced by Kraftwerk and their early synths works. You can describe it as deep electro meets tech house type of track. The male vocal included adds meaning and depth to the track. Really funky, creative and fresh this EP for a strange reason makes me feel very hopeful for the future of EDM when talents like Mass Digital coming up. Love IT
