Dimitri Kechagias review: Techno is not what is used to be. Techno has many shades and colours and Techno producers are ready to experiment and expand their style without being stubborn to remain on the traditional techno sound. Da Fresh is an artist with fresh and and new ideas in his productions. He actually produces not with the techno family in his mind but expands in a wider spectrum for that reason Da Fresh gets support from tech house and even prog house djs. Good Memories is a driving tech house monster that sounds really calm but slowly more sound layers are added to build up the tension towards the breakdown that is short for a dark distorted voice sample to appear and then to let the huge rave style synthy riff to come to the surface and create waves of excitement to the crowd. His climax is on the deep tech house territory but is very danceable and surprisingly energetic. The B Side is even deeper and minimal for tha reason is named as Calm mix but retains the characteristic elements of the original such as the old school rave style piano/organ riffs and that really cool synthy lead. Good Memories of the Good Old Rave Days maybe, I guess. Not to be missed. Love IT
