We were there at Amsterdam Dance Event for the first time. Finally our wish became true as we manage to attend the most important gathering for the EDM industry in Europe. This was the 17th edition of ADE and it was bigger and better than any other year. The most important artists in EDM at the moment hosted their own club nights in various venues in Amsterdam and the most important figures in EDM culture took part on the various panels that were organised in the three main buildings that ADE took place. The Felix Meritis, Dylan Hotel, Da Balie. During this very important platform for Electronic Dance Music several events and activities were running so someone could have something to attend. From ADE University that had as a goal to introduce young students to the magical world of EDM to latest dj gear showcase and screenings of great films with subject matter related to EDM culture. Amsterdam Dance Event is the place to be for anyone who wishes to be in touch, leave and breath the fresh air of EDM.
On Thursday 18th of October at the brand new venue Undercurrent two worlds collided in a very successful way. The Full on Ferry event came together with the brand new concept of Rich Solarstone "Pure Trance" that is currently touring around the world. On the Pure Trance stage except Solarstone, Orkidea, Daniel Kandi, John OO Flemming and exceptional 1hour and half performance of the EDM producer Guiseppe Ottaviani. The Italian mastermind once again delivered what his reputation suggests with fantastic Live performance including his latest club anthems plus some experimentation with other artists tracks. He took his Live Performance in the next level for sure. After finishing his performance at the very hot stage we meet with him at the backstage for a very interesting and worth watching interview were he reveals a lot and he give us exclusive information too.
First of all we ask him about his Live Performance at Pure Trance and he was satisfied with it. We then ask him if he feels that he is still Pure Trance or if he likes to incorporate other styles elements in his productions. He talk about the big success of his remix on the latest Paul van Dyk feat Plumb single I Dont Deserve You. We ask him about his collaboration with Solarstone for the track Falcons included on Solarstone's latest album Pure out on Black Hole recordings. He reveals great news about his forthcoming album and he tell us that he aspires to deliver a very different result from his first one GO. It will include great collaborations with talented vocalists from around the globe. We ask him to give us more details about his current single Lost for Words featuring the magnificent Amba Shepherd. He tell us about the popularity of Trance Music in his homecountry Italy. Finally we ask his opinion and perception of Amsterdam Dance Event and his importance for the EDM industry. Giuseppe is one of the best artists to have an interview with and he proves once again how down to earth and simple person remains despite his global success and recognition. You will Love HIM.
