4.Swab & Joey Mova - Spectrum (Original Mix)
They’ve remixed for us twice recently – on both Michael S. and Kenneth Thomas’s current singles on Perfecto.
So getting an EP from these hugely talented producers that all in the Perfecto office love seemed a natural progression.
Did we mention…. We all love Swab & Joey Mova.
It’s vocal, it’s instrumental, it’s progressive, it’s techno, it’s melodic, it’s blissful, it’s dark, it’s light, it’s big………oh so very big.
Come into the Arena – Swab & Joey Mova are on.
Dimitri Kechagias review: Perfecto Fluoro is underground sublabel of Paul Oakenfold's beloved legendary label Perfecto records and seems to be the most suitable label for Swab & Joey Mova to release their excellent Arena E.P. I notice this incredible duo with their remixes and was matter of time how soon they will release their own personal tracks on Perfecto labels. If you check Arena EP you get 4 equally dynamic club tracks with unique feel to them and personality as well. First of all is the anthemic big room progressive dark trancer Lux In Tenebris that comes in vocal and dub mixes. On the vocal duties is Tyler Sherritt who was made known through First State's progressive banger Maze. Tyler once again proves that he is an expressive performer with ability to radiate his feelings to the audience. His indie rock voice works perfectly with the dark progressive trance soundscape that the two producers composed. The breakdown is super large with industrial infused huge synthy riff that will blow your socks for sure. Dub mix is equally strong and can stand independently without the vocal as well. Signal Strength is banging progressive trancer with epic prog house, tech trance and even psy trance influences as well. The breakdown is calming and relaxing with an ethereal female vocal that will transcend you for a while to faraway mythical places. Last track on that EP that targets the mainstage of any open air festival is the dreamy progressive beauty Spectrum. Its a high quality electronic melodic balearic trance affair with house influences as well. It can be the start of the set type of track as it can create a warm feel good and welcoming atmosphere or I can imagine it as the end of the night, early morning outro of the set type of track. Watch out for this duo as this EP is only the beginning! Love IT!
