REVIEW: W&W - Shotgun out on Mainstage/Armada Music

1.Shotgun (Original Mix)
2.Shotgun (Radio Mix)

When the world of dance is at your feet, what else is left to do but taking the next steps? For W&W, those next steps begin now, with the launch of their very own Mainstage label! And they kick it off like no one else can, with the maddening, hard-rocking ‘Shotgun’!

Hot off the release of the official ASOT550 anthem, ‘Invasion’, Willem and Ward find themselves in a fortunate position. Not only are they one of EDM’s fastest rising duo’s, they’ve also had a successful release of their debut album ‘Impact’, taken charge of the DJ Mag’s Top 100 #36 position and take a giant leap by now taking the lead as label-owners of Mainstage Music.

‘Shotgun’ calls in that new chapter, and rocks about with all essential W&W ingredients: energy, melody and a mix of playful, powerful beats.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Trance Community lets welcome the brand new label by the hands of the most successful Dutch trance duo at the moment. The fantastic W&W rock the world with their massive sets and thet left the best impressions with their performances at the ASOT events. Its time for them to start their own label and you can expect from them only the finest club rockers that will rise at the highest positions of the trance charts. The first release for their newborn baby label Mainstage is of course a release ready made to entertain big crowds at the mainstage. Shotgun is a powerful tool strictly made for club enjoyment. It uses bouncy fat rocking beats with playful basslines that adds some kind of funk and groove in them. Absolutely breathless you will be when the breakdown will arrive and the huge synths will be unleashed to bring shivers and let you wondering how big this tune can become when the big climax will arrive. Just be prepared for an ecstatic main part that fat beats, synths and playful chunky basslines will send you higher and higher until to reach the point of no return for that ultimate high that we expect to get in any dj set. Superb start for a promising label from the hot duo that is on the rise and 2012 maybe will be their best year yet with sets at Tomorrowland 2012 & Nature One 2012 in Germany. Love IT!
