REVIEW: Orjan Nilsen - Amsterdam out on Armind/Armada Music

1.Amsterdam (Original Mix)

The time is now for Ørjan Nilsen. The Norwegian producer is still stretching the curve, rocking things out at the very top of EDM. Shortly after his massive ‘Belter’ collab with Armin van Buuren, he presents another highlight. Prepare for the fire of ‘Amsterdam’ to be awaken!

The highlights just keep coming and coming. The relentless energy and drive with which this gifted producer creates a spark upon the dance floor is one you’ll rarely find. ‘Between The Rays’, ‘La Guitarra’ and actually his entire debut album ‘In My Opinion’, were straight winners, seducing the global audience of dance lovers.

With ‘Amsterdam’, mister Nilsen brings out the big-room sound, with a techy, but ever-trancy edge!

Dimitri Kechagias review: More awesome jewels premiered on Armin van Buuren's latest successful mix cd ASOT 2012 are getting full release as singles for the enjoyment of many trance fanatics out there. Orjan Nilsen will rock your world once again after his exceptional collaboration with Armin for the number 1 in my shows anthem Belter. His latest ultra large trance turbo track is called Amsterdam and it sounds like the best trance anthem written for a European City. It would be cool the local council of Amsterdam to embrace this track and offer him some kind of acknowledgement for this as it sounds so epic and grand  that only as a trance hymn can be labelled. Solid thick and juicy progressive trance beats exceptionally produced with drive and intensity that will send you to space just before to land on the breakdown that includes a big classical music theme that creates a sense of satisfaction and fulfilment  along with the heavenly style chorus vocals that add even some religious touch. At the end of the day Trance is the Universal Religion for many that speaks to the hearts of thousands of people indifferent of gender, age, sex, and religious beliefs. Amsterdam comes to its climax with huge synths that recall in my mind trance tracks from the past. I can not stop thinking while I'm checking this beauty out that good quality instrumental Trance is back and all the purists out there should feel happy that Trance is still alive and kicking not only in Amsterdam but in global scale. Beautiful song for a marvellous European city! Love iT!
