The boys of Flashmob return after their inspiring 'Brick House' release last fall. Now, after making the rounds and gaining the support of some of the worlds top DJs, 'Ninety Five' is finaly making it to market. This track is defined by the 1995 house sound we all know and love, bringing together hi-hats, heavy kicks and pumping bass. This is the sound a lot of us grew up on, and its a nice homage to the sound that made a genre what it is today. Early support from Luciano, Loco Dice, Jamie Jones, Maceo Plex, Timo Maas, Homework, Green Velvet, Adam Beyer, DJ Sneak, Soul Clap, Davide Squillace, Silicon Soul, DJ T., Lee Curtiss, Tiefschwarz and more. Go for this wicked underground house anthem!
Dimitri Kechagias review: Its always big pleasure to receive a record from Get Physical Music as every single release is a sure underground anthem. Now we are ready to go for a quick time travel type of track. Its the kind of tune that you play on radio and you ask your audience: when you think this track is released. They will definitely say early 90's. Flashmob manage to create that 90s vibe despite of being part of an era that technology allows the producers to overload their tracks with many sound layers and fancy flashy effects. They took the hard road to go minimal and bring back some of the romanticism and excitement of that beloved era. Ninety Five is funky, chunky and absolutely lovable. Of course stand out element is that cool female spoken vocal sample about the freedom that you get when you dance and enjoy yourself. If you don't feel the same as she does perhaps you listen the wrong kind of music. Its certainly a great track that I hope will be supported with some remixes as well. There is potential in it! Love It!
