A legend in deep house circles and a producer of long-standing pedigree, the nomadic Vincenzo is someone that we have been admiring from afar for a considerable time at Anjunadeep.
With a wealth of diverse compositions, Vincenzo has contributed releases to labels like Steve Bug's Dessous, John Digweed's Bedrock and the respect Moon Harbour. And it is with much excitement that we present his debut release on Anjunadeep.
Opening things up is the infectious "Get To Know You". A lush electronic deep house gem full of the veteran producer's trademark musicality and melodic touch, "Get To Know You" has the perfect balance of sonic subtlety and dancefloor verve.
A more hypnotic affair full of sliding keys and interlocking grooves, "The Notebook" captures a different vibe of Vincenzo's renowned sound - but is equally bewitching and club ready. A perfect end to Vincenzo's debut Anjunadeep release… and the start of much to come.
Dimitri Kechagias review: Anjunadeep's belief in excellence leads them of course to bring to the label some of the finest and hottest producers out there. Vincenzo enters the Anjunadeep headquarters with a blast and really massive EP that all deep prog house lovers outhere with greatly enjoy. Get to Know You is very subtle groovy deep tech house track that slowly grows inside you and will be the perfect starting dish for a rich and nutritious prog house meal. The Notebook that is my favorite of the two is absolutely gorgeous with hypnotic atmosphere and attractive cinematic warmth. It has awesome rthythm that you want to tap your feet and move slowly to the beat, tempo to warm those human body engines in the right speed, and musicallity of course with awesome melodic riffs coming and going really locking your mind to its small inner world. For this particular track I got the feeling that we deal with an already classic in the making. Anjunadeep at its very finest of course!
