Dunugoz vs. Tha Roofas drop their new single on the Black Hole imprint, entitled "Anita's Theme (Come On People)".

What began as an exclusive -and elusive- bootleg in the clubs finally sees the light of day as a proper single release. Global interest in the single spiked after the great Tiësto featured it in his world-renowned radio show “Tiësto’s Club Life”. Based on the huge club hit "Why Tell Me Why" by Dutch female singer and eighties pop-icon Anita Meyer, Dunugoz vs Tha Roofas took the original apart and put it back together again 2011 style. The first version in the EP package is the one that started it all. An initial build up of progressive and bass heavy beats leads the people on the dance floor through the edited string theme taken from the original song and paves the way for a filtered and lengthy break. Once the track comes back with a full climax, everyone immediately understands why this cut raised so many hands in the clubs.

"Anita's Theme (Come On People)" received thorough make overs from the world's leading remixers including rising stars from homebase of Tiësto: The Netherlands. Grime and dubstep pioneer MRK1 came up with a woofer grinding dubstep version, while at the same time Franky Nuts approached things from the electro rave side, similar to the sound of the Bloody Beetroots and Steve Oaki. Fremdkunst reworked the original into a jazzy hiphop version with touching trumpet stabs in it, ready for the lounge clubs. Last but not least we have three hot and clubby versions from the likes of Jess-E, DJ Funkadelic and Biggi. All massively funky versions that will get the party started. "Anita's Theme (Come On People)" by Dunugoz vs. Tha Roofas is the next killer party track you can't do without!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Dunogoz vs The Roofas rock the club house sets with this great track that is based on the really famous track that this year had other cool remixes as well. I'm very glad that this top project from Black Hole use the original riff  in a very creative way. The end result  is  a really different pumping club tech house track but with the touch of the instantly recognisable riff from "Why tell me why". The remix package is quite adventurus with big variety of house styles covered particularly electro house/nu rave indie dance styles that seems the younger generations to appreciate a lot. Of course there is a powerful dubstep version and very cool chill out lounge style mix as well. In my opinion this classic riff screams for a trance makeover too and I hope that someone will attempt it soon. Come on people dance with Anita's Theme.
