Fonzerelli makes his debut on the Premier imprint with “Moonlight Party 2011”. The 2011 remake features the vocals of Elleniy.
The very first time that “Moonlight Party” saw the light of day was in 2006. The single was immediately picked up by the great Tiësto, who hammered the track for almost a year in his live sets and eventually added it to the track list of his “In Search of Sunrise 5, Los Angeles” mix compilation. For Fonzerelli it meant his worldwide breakthrough in the world of electronic dance music. Enter 2011 and five years after the initial success, Fonzerelli once again returns to his own ultimate classic, this time aptly entitled “Moonlight Party 2011”. Both the world’s DJs and party peeps have to strap themselves in for this absolutely superb new version, including a fabulous, grade-A, set of remixes. All of the magic from the original is carefully preserved, but lifted to the level of quality of today’s live events and first and foremost, the Born Again Mix is of course the version to kick off the package.
For the trance and deep trance aimed live sets, clubs and events, you can immediately check out the remixes by Setrise, Aaron McClelland and LoverushUK, ‘cause their versions all breathe a fresh, crisp and above all incredibly appealing sundrenched atmosphere. Jimmie Page and Gleave held on to the original set up of the track, but turned it into fabulous, more progressive sounding renditions. Last but not least we have the Super Hoo Men, who managed to rework the entire song into a true bassbin shattering dubstep mix. Fonzerelli’s “Moonlight Party 2011” will most definitely outdo all the current summer slammers with this tremendous remake!
Dimitri Kechagias review: The re-release of some classics is well justified like it happens in the case of Fonzerelli's ever green Moonlight Party with those addictive and luring vocals by Ellenyi. When you get so many nice and creative new interpetations the best is of course to release them and watch them dominate the international holiday resorts dancefloors and radio shows like Judge Jules BBC Radio 1 show. First of all the born again mix updates the track in the current electro disco house sound including in prominent position that characteristic riff to make you mad and the top vocals too. Setrise delivers the harder prog trance meets tech trance style mix with minimal start and banging full on main part with large epic synths. Hardfloors will adore it for sure. Aaron delivers a great remix on that Fred Falke French house style that works so well with the original elements of the anthem. Loverush Uk who are very hot at the moment deliver a prog trance mix with balearic feel and those Ibiza memories cropping up. If you like dubstep the Super Hoo Do it just right by utilizing the original elements in the best way. Jimmie Page delivers the deeper prog house mix that floats slowly and gradually and take you on a nice hypnotic journey full of great effects and sounds that add a really spacey atmosphere. Gleave finally delivers a massive hands in the air epic prog house meets trance mix that will be impossible for the djs to resist and not play it. It is tight and exact for todays demands on the dancefloor. Big crowd pleaser that is worth it to be back once again. We Party All NIGHT till we see the morning sun do doubts. Dedicated to all the clubbers in th nation!!
