"Lie Down In Darkness" features here is hot remixes by Arno Cost, Paul van Dyk, Gregor Tresher, Rob Da Bank, Bassjackers and not forgetting the epic Original Mix. Moby's next UK live appearance will be on July 31st at The Roundhouse in Camden, where he is set to close this year's iTunes Festival. This date follows his recent sold out show at the same venue. Finally, Moby has partnered with Saatchi & Saatchi and Vimeo to set up a competition in support of young filmmakers. Interpreting the theme of "Hello, Future" in the form of a music video for one of three of Moby's tracks from Destroyed, the competition has prompted an unprecedented response with almost 600 entries coming in from young directors across the globe. "I'm overwhelmed in a really positive way, by the number of people competing, and the quality of the entries," enthuses Moby. Dimitri Kechagias review about the remix package: Moby is always a cutting edge artist that despite being a pop icon, he likes to push the boundaries and provide to his fans an outstanding listening experience. As it happens with Moby releases star producers and remixers are invited to interpret in their own style the originals that usually are very esoteric melancholic songs with romantic feel and cinematic epic atmosphere. On this package to pick the best remix of all, it is really difficult task as all the remixers did great job cause I guess they feel that all the eyes and ears will be upon them as it is definitely highlight for them to remix a Moby's track. First of all the awesome Arno Cost provides an epic prog house mix with dynamism and drive perfect to use in the peak moment of your epic prog house set. Paul van Dyk delivers a balearic prog trance mix that stays close to the vibe of the original with two really beautiful breakdowns and tribal traveling beats to dance along besides the deep blue sea. This is definitely Paul van Dyk at his best, this remix is not to be missed. Bassjackers remix is fat and furious with electro banging house being the menu of the day. Gregor Tresher adds his electronic sensibility with deep hypnotic melancholic electro adventure. Rob offers the dubstep version that pushes the track in that really successful style of now adding that feeling of now. Overall is a great package that fans of Moby and djs will adore to play from this really true artist.
