Dimitri Kechagias review: Darren Tate is definitely one of the finest British producers and djs at the moment that he manage to leave his mark in the dance scene with his various projects from the more mainstream to more underground. Now he returns with the magically entitled The Eternal that includes two surprising versions that both run on 126 BPM. The original is a fat driving full on melodic ride with hoovery like distrorted lead that drives the track forward and on top some cool vocal samples to create that outerspace atmosphere. It has that energy and distinctive style that Darren delivers for so many years. It has an edge and is not just another prog trancer for sure. My favorite though is the Big Piano mix. This remix has so much epic prog house feel to it that you know it’s a winner and its recipe will crossover from prog house to prog trance sets with great ease. The words “Balearic crowd pleaser” are the only ones that can describe it and you can expect a sure winner horse in the race. Darren returns on great form and he stands out on the finest and consistent label around that you should always check out, Mondo records.
