Dimitri Kechagias review: Kosmo records in Munich never rest to discover for us wonderful new artists and expose them to a wide international audience. This time is the turn for the new duo Cambis & Wenzel to present their magical oriental and ethnic influenced “Ayuni” featuring the mouthwatering Lima who sings for first time in her native language. The package includes the fantastic original mixes and mind-blowing remix by the stand out team of Yoshida and Bahil. First of all the original version that is deep hypnotic tech house journey with brilliant Arabic melodies on top, superb tribal drums and funky playful rhythm that will help you really easily to feel its heat and warmth and feel lost in its exotic atmosphere. On the vocal duties is the excellent Lima that we all remember as a singer for Tom Novy tracks and this time sounds so brilliant that you can imagine her as a night goddess appearing in the middle of the desert singing in her own heartfelt and really personal and very unique and sensitive way about love in the desert. The original is so well produced that you can press repeat on your media player and you can listen to it again and again feeling totally relaxed and mesmerized. This version is offered as dub and instrumental if you don’t feel the vocals but in my opinion the vocal is inseparable part of the whole atmosphere of that great track. Yoshida and Bahil version is more upfront, playful and the kind of track that you can play as warm up track and you can spot on the dancefloor the bodies started to move along under its hypnotic influence. So sexy and luring that is definitely one for the summer love stories. The two great remixers add in their version a pumpier beat and additional new funky groovy melodies that will be difficult not to feel hooked by it! Overall it’s an amazing release that for me is already a precious jewel in my music collection and I believe you will feel the same way after listening to it just once. I hope that will be licensed in many lounge/ethnic compilation within the next months as it deserves to get the maximum of exposure.
