Tiësto, Fedde Le Grand, Sebastian Ingrosso & More Line Up For The First Mid West Music Festival
Swapping galloping stallions for jet-setting DJs, July 24th sees Dusseldorf’s world famous Neuss Racecourse become the setting for the first ever Mid West Music Festival.
With 15,000 dance music fans coming together under a blazing summer sky to witness some of the biggest acts around, Mid West should prove a surefire hit with clubbers from across the European continent.
Heading up a monumental line-up is a man who really does need no introduction whatsoever – Tiësto. The world’s biggest DJ is joined by a man whose reputation for devastating beats and immense club smashes make him one of the most in-demand artists anywhere on the planet; Fedde le Grand. And if that doesn’t make your mouth water, the addition of one third of the infamous Swedish House Mafia, the enigmatic Sebastian Ingrosso, should do the trick!
Man of the moment Martin Solveig, riding high on the huge success of Hello and ready to unleash his hugely anticipated album Smash, should provide one of the biggest sets of the day. Flying the German flag, Moonbootica, Patric La Funk and Eddie Thoneick join the bill, while representing the UK is the man behind one of the biggest labels in electronic music today, Toolroom head honcho Mark Knight, along with fellow Brit Funkagenda.
Remixes for U2, Snoop Dogg and Depeche Mode, and collaborations with Axwell, David Guetta and Ingrosso, have cemented Dirty South as one of the hit providers for the scene. Steve Angello’s little brother and rising star AN21 also jets in with regular partner in crime Max Vangeli, ready to show the Mid West masses why they’re fast becoming one of the hottest international duos around.
Axwell favourite Thomas Gold, F*** Me I’m Famous resident Norman Doray and Flamingo Recordings captain Funkerman round off what can only be described as an insane onslaught of the biggest talent around.
This may be the first edition of the Mid West Music Festival, but if this massive starting line-up is any indication of the event’s ambition, then we could be looking at the birth of a very serious contender for the crown of the European clubbing calendar.
