Techno Review: Ulrich Van Bell & Mike McCarthy - Life in Quantum Space out on Coldharbour Recordings

10.0
Overall Score

Continuing Coldharbour Black's month of debuting talent showcases, we welcome Ulrich Van Bell & Mike McCarthy to the label with driving techno piece Life in Quantum Space. A demo sent just before Christmas immediately caught the attention of Markus Schulz, and an ID roadtest during his open to close solo set at Avalon gave it the seal of approval. Hypnotic and fierce in equal measure, Life in Quantum Space arrives as part of our Miami Music Week output.

Ulrich Van Bell & Mike McCarthy - Life in Quantum Space 10

Summary

Driving melodic deep melodic techno with trance influences is a short description for Ulrich Van Bell & Mike McCarthy trance bomb Life in Quantum Space. Energetic pulsating basslines, thumping drums, deep kick and superb dark moody percussive synths along with mysterious voices and nice hypnotic atmosphere. It follows the current trend of the popular Afterlife records style but definitely it has its own unique touch and atmosphere. Dystopian, lethargic and energetic in one strong underground track, #PureGold Love IT
