Sophia Margerison is Global Business Development Director at YMU Music and has over fifteen years of experience in leading agency and A&R roles. She's based between London and Los Angeles and has an impressive network of A-list DJs and producers. In the past, she signed artists including Kawala, Ebenezer, Maximillian, and Bryn to Virgin EMI Records, where she worked as Senior A&R Executive. She understands both music executives and artists that drive the music business and shares her knowledge on ADE Wednesday with Katie Bain and Emmy Lovell.

By working closely with artists, managers, and labels worldwide, SoundCloud's Global Head of Music Emmy Lovell, has gained relationships, capabilities, and insights that connect SoundCloud's listeners and their favourite artists. She's a veteran music industry executive and has developed major campaigns for global artists including Kyle Minogue, The Chemical Brothers, Deadmau5, and many more.

Moderator Katie Bain is the Director of Billboard Dance, overseeing print and digital coverage of the genre. She began her writing career after earning a degree in journalism and mass communication at the University of Wisconsin. She's spent the last fifteen years in Los Angeles, where she's served as Senior Music Writer at LA Weekly, a staff writer at international festival brand Insomniac events, and as the Senior Editor of Beatport News.
