REVIEW: Che Jose - Heart Of Glass out on Mondo Black

10.0
Overall Score

A welcomed return to Australian Dj/Producer Che Jose who is having a powerful 2023. Following on from his debut banger Code 1, Che brings you Heart of Glass, his second offering on Mondo Black.

Again utilising his full repertoire with a perfect blend of progressive house, melodic techno, and elements of trance only this time he takes it to the next level with a peak time break and vocal combo, supported by euphoric yet edgy synth melodies. Will undoubtedly a popular pick in many sets.

Summary

Mondo Black brings to the surface some very fine tracks that will be hard to overlook. For instance Che Jose delivers the very powerful Heart of Glass. Pulsating driving basslines, pounding drums, energetic kicks and dark moody synths along with fantastic atmosphere that simply flows beautifully. The breakdown stands out with its cinematic tripping out atmosphere and the very strong male vocal that has an indie dance touch to it. Of course the dub mix caters for the non vocal fans. The climax has the right amount of tension and dynamism to keep any progressive set at the peak. #PureGold Love iT
