REVIEW: Diago - Moonlight out on Digital Society Recordings

8.6
Overall Score

Diago returns on Digital Society Recordings with the next helping of the newcomer producer's subtle, melodic anthems in 'Moonlight'.

Bursting onto the label recently with the arrival of 'Beausoleil', the Italian producer brought his delicate sound to the label faithful and received a rapturous response. Back now with 'Moonlight' Diago's next Original on DS-R brings his gently building style in another anthemic, peak-time concoction glistening with subtle vocals, an uplifting antidote to some of the harder sounding DS-R releases, this is 'Moonlight'.

Summary

Diago until now delivered very strong tunes. Moonlight is moving in the safe territory of already used melodies and arrangement that follows the path of the previous releases. The breakdown is very well sound designed with only drawback the male vocal. In my ears sounds a bit naive and very simple to uplift the rest of the average production. Diago has the talent and he know needs to move one step ahead and deliver something a bit more groundbreaking and find his own signature sound. #PureGold Love IT
