REVIEW: Basil O'Glue - The Promise out on Pure Progressive

With his latest album still making waves in the Progressive Trance scene, we present something a little more melodic from Haris Vasiloglue, set apart from the moody industrial tones of ‘Depth of Field’. ‘The Promise’ is fuelled by a rolling bassline, chunky kick and crisp percussion. Addictive Perfecto-esque sequenced bleeps and a warping, zapping, acidic lead riff provide the hook lines, drawing us in until the big key change is unleashed +4 minutes in, which is a proper ecstasy moment in the best possible sense. Summary

The Promise is another stunning production from the hands of the upcoming progressive talent Basil O' Glue. With many releases on his back catalogue and even his own well respected and recognised label Saturate Audio proves that this man has a serious plan and his life seems to be all about music. His track The Promise can be summerized as a very spacious spacey cosmic trance journey. Moody dark basslines, punchy drums, strong kick and superb build up of the tension with great sci-fi synthy noises and psy-trance influences. The breakdown is dark and colorful at the very same time while the climax is full on and melodic in an anthemic direction without though becoming happy or overexcited. Serious production from start to finish with steady direction to please and ignite serious trance followers who travel rather than just jumping when they dance along. #PureGold Love IT.
