REVIEW: Eco & Driftmoon - Trust In The Wind out on Pure Trance

A team up of titans here with Eco & Driftmoon each bringing their specific skills to the production table. ‘Trust’ is one of the fan favourites from Eco’s critically acclaimed album ‘Wolves’. The Original version has only previously been available in album or edit format, so it’s a pleasure on unveil this record in all its unedited majesty. The marriage of Eco’s edgy & rugged production with Driftmoon’s orchestral abilities really is something very special. Driftmoon’s Rework takes the track in a more club orientated direction; arpeggiated bass, gated claps and stabbed synths set things up perfectly for the peak time trance floors and the addition of a gritty lead synth post-break lifts this up beautifully.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Pure Trance presents the stunning collaboration between Eco & Driftmoon. Trust in the Wind comes in two different versions with extended mix being the straight forward uplifting version with driving basslines, metallic drums and superb melancholic guitar riff that can make you cry on the dancefloor. Long and teasing breakdown with orchestral strings, piano and that guitar riff that touch you deep with its cinematic edge along with choir like voices and crescendo moment that will uplift you instantly. The climax is full on and hands in the air like there is no return for sure. Quality that stands out from start to finish. Driftmoon reworks focuses on the dancefloor impact with strong arrangement of fat drums, smashing basslines, acid overtones short breaks and massive build ups that keep you hooked throughout. Its powerful and sensitive at the same time with incredibly detailed breakdown that highlights even more the main melody followed by uplifting euphoric heavenly energy that will move boats and automobiles. #PureGold Love IT  [/content]
