Godskitchen one of the most celebrated club brands in UK and internationally celebrated it's last ever event with The Last Dance event which was spread in 2 days, 3rd & 4th of June. Magnificent atmosphere, magical lasers and great effects, wonderful decoration, impressive dancers and dj sets from the hottest names right now including Gareth Emery, Aly & Fila, Fergie, Solarstone and many more. At the barbecue pre-party on Saturday we had the opportunity to have an interview with the first ever resident DJ at Godskitchen, the legend himself AJ Gibson. His DJ set on Friday was truly explosive and he was part of the back2back only Residents last set on Saturday. In this interview that we filmed with him at the barbecue pre-party on Saturday AJ Gibson explains how he became resident, how the name Godskitchen and the famous angel logo with the trumpet came about, how important were the superclubs like Godskitchen for the record labels back in the days to promote their records and build their success. Also we ask him if all those DJs who have benefited from the Godskitchen brand through the years do they recognise its impact for their careers. He explains his great friendship with Aly & Fila and lastly he answers if there is any possibility to restart the club night after its Last Dance events.
