Slideways presents its 12th installment with one of its edgiest EPs yet and features two spotlight tracks; ‘Skeptic' and ‘Enceladus'.
The title track, ‘Skeptic', is an eerie journey into darkness as a collaboration by Toronto based artists, Aerodroemme and OPL (aka Amber Long). The original combines rolling bass and percussion with a feeling of tension that builds into haunting sirens and horns. The outcome is nothing shy of a runaway train heading deep into the underground.
‘Skeptic' is accompanied by a brilliantly interpreted remix by Rick Pier O'Neil (RPO) who is no stranger to these ominous sides of progressive and techno. He seamlessly takes the original parts deeper into the corners of the after-hours, as only he can do.
The Canadian duo's second presentation, which is aptly titled 'Enceladus', continues into the shadows with a gritty percussive edge and another eerie, space-like soundscape. Again, something for the real 4am dance floor trip.
Closing out the release is a funkier version of 'Enceladus' by UK producer, Tripswitch. Making his Slideways debut, Nick Brennan gives this piece a new found presence and a warm summery glow. It's the perfect alter-ego for the EP and will easily fit a variety of styles this upcoming season!
The ‘Skeptic' EP is certainly not for the faint of heart and will shock the senses enough to throw you into the far reaches of the Slideways.

Aerodroemme & OPL - Skeptic EP10
Summary
Slideways is considered to be one of the most forward thinking progressive labels with classy releases so far. The latest EP by Aerodroemme contains the solo track Enceladus and his co-production Skeptic with OPL. Firstly Skeptic is deep moody progressive house track with progressive techno elements that contains pulsating basslines, haunting strings, dark synths and superb percussion of bubbly drums. The breakdown reveals the superb spoken vocal sample that explains that Everyone Is A Skeptic. RPO remix is mininal with steady pulsating basslines, pumpy dark drums, industrial synths, electronic effects and distorted robotic vocals. Enceladus is moving on the same prog house direction with stronger prog techno and psy trance influences. Cinematic strings are added from time to time to make the whole atmosphere mysterious and very sacred. Tripswitch remix is an experimental prog house version with tribal grooves, deep basslines, distorted vocals and melodies with stunning long breakdown. that adds brand new sound layers and mesmerise the listener to the maximum. If you play progressive house certainly this release will travel your audience without moving. #PureGold Love It
