REVIEW: Ryan Farish featuring Coury Palermo - Distance out on Black Hole recordings

1. Original Mix
2. Radio Edit

Between the two of them Ryan Farish and Coury Palermo deliver a track that can with right be called unique. ‘Distance’ stays away from rough, hard hitting trance and instead starts off with a more soft and dream-like sound. Coury’s authentic vocals fit the music flawlessly and towards the end the music takes a slight turn towards being more suitable for the clubs. ‘Distance’ can’t be missing from your collection.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Black Hole recordings had an incredible 2014 with countless really huge records. The latest one comes from the hands of the newcomer on Black Hole, USA based artist Ryan Farish featuring the exceptional vocals by Coury Palermo. The track is called Distance and at the moment only the original mix is released. It has so much potential that I hope some great remixes will follow soon as well.  The track starts in truly romantic way with great ambient intro along with the very deep and emotional piano melody. The superb vocal comes in and in truly 80's electro pop tone Coury Palermo carries away while underneath the chunky grooves, techy basslines, and balearic style synths drive the track forward. The breakdown will calm and relax your senses and that is perfect moment to come closer to your loved one and dance a long. Magical cinematic strings and opera style chorus vocals raise the tension until the beat strikes back for the climax that is very energetic and driving perfect to play it as an intro track in your dj set. The synthy riffs are epic and pure trance with fluorescent colours all over the place. The final small breakdown brings to the front some very cool percussive melodies that will lead the track to its conclusion. Its great track with some remixes can really shine!#PureGold  Love It
