Dimitri Kechagias review: If there is one record label that manage to return back to the forefront of the trance community in 2014 definitely this one is VANDIT records. When everybody was thinking that the label slowly will fade away and disappear as it happened with many other record labels VANDIT records came back with a bang and top releases from some of the coolest producers from the older and younger generation. VANDIT records represents what is good and noteworthy in trance music with the label owner Paul van Dyk having one of his finest years with explosive performances that remain in your mind for long. One event not to be missed is the Winter VANDIT Night at 20th of December that takes place in Berlin where Paul will be joined by Tim Mason and Roger Shah. Two of the hottest new recruits Chris Bekker and Paul Thomas of VANDIT records join forces to deliver the stunning anthem ZOUNDZ in 2 memorable mixes. Tough Love mix starts with laid back playful groove but very soon the tone and rhythm changes and the track becomes full on energetic prime time progressive trancer with intensity and dynamism that pushes any clubber to his/her limits. Short snippets of the main melody come in to offer us some taste of what comes pretty soon on the breakdown that is packed with the massive euphoric synthy hook that is simply VANDIT style. Euphoric, epic, emotional and highly addictive you can guess how the crowd will react with hands in the air. The build up raises the tension until to lead us beautifully on the melodic big room and full on climax that will be adored by those who prefer their night surrounded by colourful fluorescent lights and lazers. Intention Mix on the other hand is the slower progressive trance affair with playful arrangement, electro infused basslines and chunky groove that keep you dancing for sure. The breakdown is longer and more deep with the various synthy plucks and piano chords creating slowly the tension until the full on euphoric hands in the air synths unleashed upon that electrifying charming groove perfect to energise the clubbers and keep them floating in their little pink fluffy clouds.
