Spring's breaking out all over, and nowhere more so than in Berlin, it seems. Fully in the spirit, VANDIT HQ have singled out five of their recent crop for some seasonal remix love! They've handpicked some of the brightest remix talent out there to create a spring-celebrating EP extravaganza. Standby for a daisy-fresh delivery of musical revisions of Las Salinas, Ben Nicky, Eranga Chris Bekker & Chris Montana and Paul Trainer's latest. 'Springing' into action (sorry!) are remixers Bryan Kearney, Sebastian Krieg, Johan Malmgren, Cesar Lugo and Niels von Ahorn!

First off the blocks, Bryan Kearney takes the beauty of Las Salinas' epic production and Sue McLaren's searing 'Break This Spell' vocal and gives the track a seismic shift into peak-time trance. Mexico's Cesar Lugo meanwhile takes the deep house of Eranga & Trisha McTeague's 'Welcome' and sets it against a pumping-yet-atmospheric trance-progressive soundscape.

The front end of March saw Chris Bekker & Chris Montana 'Telling Tales' (and stealing more than a few DJ's hearts & minds) with their inventive classic house/trance/progressive cut. Passed into the ever-dependable remix hands of Sebastian Krieg, the track assumes even greater uplift still, with the man from München re-cultivating 'Tales' as cultured progressive house. Further into the spring, 'Brave Heart' was the sublime latest from Ben Nicky and now receives a lush remake from Sweden's Johan Malmgren.

Having displayed his strategic remixing skills on Paul van Dyk's 'If You Want My Love' last year, Niels von Ahorn puts hands to Paul Trainer's recent 'Receptor'. A more darkly dug, driving take, he recalibrates it with hypnotizing linearism, short drops and equally quick, effective bring-backs.

Dimitri Kechagias review: VANDIT records is the top label headed by the globally adored and respected dj Paul van Dyk with many golden classics under its belt. Spring is in the air and is the right time for the VANDIT records to unleash VANDIT Remixed spring EP that contains 3 brand new unreleased remixes on the latest releases and 2 remixes already released as part of the singles. You will not be disappointed even for a second from the high class remix package. First of all the top Las Salinas & Sue McLaren with the fantastic vocal trancer Break This Spell. The trance master from Dublin and label owner  of Kearnage, the one and only Bryan Kearney spice up the track with his hard drums, driving energetic basslines, synthy layers, VANDIT style chord progression and acid overtones. His breakdown will make you feel deep and emotional as Sue McLaren shines with her unique inspiring voice. His climax is full on hands in the air with the euphoric uplifting synths lifting you from the crowd and travelling your mind to happy places with sun and spring flowers all over the place. Ben Nicky's exceptional vocal trancer Brave Heart featuring  Chloe Stamp is nicely reworked as modern electro neo trancer by the always high class Johan Malmgren who does his best to impress with his tight and clean composition. Chunky groovy basslines, deep electro infused basslines, warm strings and synths with Chloe retro voice sounding really in place. It will touch you deep in your heart and will uplift you when the massive euphoric synthy stabs appear to give you goosebumps and send you for nice party in space. Modern and fresh sound that adds the needed proglifting appropriation  to the trance classic. The progressive balearic cut by Eranga featuring Tricia McTeague entitled Welcome Anymore is transformed into a full on uplifting trance banger by Cesar Lugo. The well known producer doesn't afraid 138 BPM and he proves it as he adds his pumping bouncy techy groove, his energetic basslines, warm strings and massive colourful uplifting synths in the breakdown that the beloved Tricia McTeague shines with her stand out high class voice that we hope to listen on many tracks. Pure trance energizer not for the faint hearted. Chris Bekker & Chris Montana hit record Telling Tales for those who would like to play a much more straight forward progressive house version the fantastic Sebastian Krieg is on board and he delivers a magnificent remix of that starts quite deep with plenty of bass until to reach the breakdown that the main melodic themes are revealed and slowly the track is beefing up towards the massive hands in the air climax. When the beat strikes back better let all the inhibitions and fear go away and allow yourself to enjoy the massive sound storm that will push negativity away and will send you to outerspace for sure. Last but not least Paul Trainer's seminal Receptor is remixed perfectly by Niels von Ahorn who delivers longer uplifting full on feel good trancer with psy trance infusions and you guessed it right. With incredible old school VANDIT records / Paul van Dyk sound to it! Niels is fantastic producer and on this remix he respects the original by highlighting its strengths and raising even higher its emotional impact for the listener. Floating and flowing classic trance as we always loved it to be. Pure uplifting trance magic! The last two remixes were included in the actual single release. #PureGold trance package of joy! Love IT
