REVIEW: Tomcraft - Loneliness 2K13 out on Kosmo records

1.Club Mix
2.Tujamo Remix
3.Jaxxon Remix

"Happiness seems to be Loneliness and Loneliness rules my world": This hookline, combined with style-defining production, has been celebrated on the dance floors of the world for ten years now. The release of "Loneliness" was a turning point in Tomcraft's DJ career. Although the first reactions to the record were exuberant, no-one could have foreseen the number's global success and influence. No. 1 in the UK - most played dance track on the radio in 2003 - and ultimately induction into the Electronic Music Hall of Fame.

So it is understandable that Tomcraft always also saw "Loneliness" as his own personal holy grail. Today, 10 years after its first release, Tomcraft has reproduced the track together with his then studio partner Eniac for his "20 Years" album, and given it a new sound for the next decade. And they've done it again: big bass line meets big vocal line!

Alongside Tomcraft's mix, two very special bootlegs have also made the leap to an official remix. Tujamo, without doubt one of last year's shooting stars, lays the vocals over an organ line on his house mix, immediately calling forth associations with the legendary "Beachball" track. Goose bumps guaranteed!

And then there's Jaxxon, the unbelievable newcomer from the UK. His Big Room Progressive Bootleg instantaneously found its way onto the playlists of big names like Ferry Corsten, David Guetta and Gareth Enemy.

Then as now, "Loneliness" is more than just a dance track. It is an anthem; a classic for the eternity of electronic club music.

Tomcraft is NOW…

Dimitri Kechagias review: If someone decides to write the encyclopedia of Electronic Dance & Club Music for sure under the letter L would be Loneliness and under the letter T would be Tomcraft. The Bavarian dj and producer with monster hits under his belt dj Tomcraft is proud composer of one of the biggest club anthems ever, the unforgettable and easily recognisable Loneliness. I would never forget Ferry Corsten dropping Loneliness in his Full on Ferry event at ADE and the crowd from various ages responding to it so wholeheartedly and positively. Now the wait is over and the speculation has ended. Kosmo records revealed on Beatport the brand new official remixes for 2013. First of all the master himself went in the studio with Eniac and they present their own Club mix that is ready made for the modern dancefloor. Its definitely a harder remake with the original breaks style beat at the beginning and then move on a big hands in the air electro house section. The main breakdown reveals brand new melodic themes and a slamming in your face build up until to land on the large climax. The original melodic theme becomes darker and with rockish edge to it.  Jaxxon deliver the goods and service the epic prog house anthem that this top track deserved. It starts quite minimal with some hint of the original melody and drops to the first breakdown that the breaks style beat along with the big vocal revealed for a while until the manic beat to come in for a wild and rough ride. The main breakdown is simply unbelievable as the main melody comes in filtered and then is unleashed in its full glory order to create a mayhem on the floor. The climax is maddening, en thrilling and breathtaking. Expect to watch the unexpected reactions on the dancefloor. Really large stuff! Last but not least Tujamo delivers the sexy latin infused tech house version that is superbly groovy and difficult to resist and not dance along with it. He introduces a very cool blippy clubby organ style melody that adds a totally different perspective on the  darker original. Particularly the hot ladies on the dancefloor will feel free to shake their bodies without inhibitions and fear about their cellulite. Loneliness is back Big Time. Love IT!
