His 2005 white label remix‚ "Tumbo Tumbo" (a bootleg of Lionel Richie's hit "All Night Long") propelled him into the remix world and caught the attention of curious listeners. Soon requests for his unmatched remixing capabilities came pouring in from dance music moguls like Robbie Rivera, Bad Boy Bill and Antoine Clamaran to industry elites like Lady Gaga, Hyper Crush, Fergie and Britney Spears. His commanding sounds receive regular airplay on SiriusXM satellite radio and other radio stations, while his energetic DJ performances cement residencies across the globe.
Steve Smooth has taken his skills as a DJ to over 30 different countries in the last 5 years and did over 100 shows just last year alone. Steve has released tracks on Ultra and Ministry of Sound and remixed for artists such as Eric Prydz and Bad Boy Bill. His remix of "Dancin" by Aaron Smith entered the Top 10 UK Pop Charts. Steve has also released 2 full length albums titled "The Collection" and "Amp'd." His song "Stay" featuring vocalist Colette quickly hit #1 on Beatport.com and was in BPM Radio's Top 20 of the year.
