Here it is the first single of M.in's "M.in feat Chriss Vogt - A Matter Of Taste" Album! The Album will be released at 02th of march 2012 and this single should show you only a little part of his work.


'With N Egg' is a funny piano track that includes a test recording of Wipa's voice but after this fits great into the track M.in choose to keep that error for this decisively cool n sexy track, creating a rather seductive vibe! Also Benno Blome created his own interpretation of 'With N Egg' and changed only some little details like the bassline! If you don't like it dry you will like this version for sure!



Frankfurt’s M.in has emerged as a talented star in the last couple of years. His well informed, jazzy, playful, tribal house and tech productions have found comfortable homes on respected labels like Loco Dice’s Desolat, Trapez, Get Physical, Mothership and many more. As well as producing and playing all over the world, he also heads up his own digital label, weplayminimal.

Now comes the man’s full length work, A Matter of Taste, featuring the piano talents of Chriss Vogt. It’s an album which sees the man move away from sampling more and more, increasingly shifting towards working with organic sources like live vocalists, live piano and sax players and even live percussionists.

Across the course of 13 tracks (and one bonus!) the man named Markus Ferdinand explores everything from foresty, blissful atmospheres (“Barcelona City Hop On”) to quirky and intricate tech (“Raumstation”) via sax inflected house perfect for some lively summer terrace (“Session 4”).

Although plenty of these will work on the floor, they are also imbued with a keen sense of musicality… the aforementioned live instruments are all carefully deployed for maximum impact throughout. The whole album feels alive as a result and tracks like “With n Egg” are sure to become much played DJ favourites.

There are deeper cuts, too, like the title track itself, which sound not that far removed from the fairground styled house of labels like Solomun’s Dynamic. Overall A Matter Of Taste is an interesting and arresting album away from the norm one that documents the maturation of an already skilled producer.

This first single With N Egg  is a cool laid back piano driven jazzy tech house beauty that is spiced up by those by accident superb vocals. I love the creative way that the composer incorporated them within the track and the result is so sexy and infectious. Benno Blome remix is absolutely stunning as well as it goes even deeper and groovier and he uses less of the vocal but with that irresistible rhythm that invite you to dance. Next track on this EP is My Hands Are Closed that is feel good and retro house as we like it to be. Chopped vocals, filters, and a bit of jazz funk make this great record your first choice in an eclectic deep house set. Last but not least Dan Caster & Rene Bourgeois deliver the upfront version that the more upbeat retro house djs will use in their sets to bring some old school vibes in their floors. Close your eyes and lets go back in time with music that sounds so homemade like your grandmother cookies. Love IT!
