REVIEW: Jean-Luc Wu - Music Box out on SolarSwarm Recordings

1.Music Box
2.Music Box [Mystro Boxed Up Mix]

This is the 12th release on the world’s very first - and only - social network record label. Solarstone is the only artist to have a label run and supported by a committee who choose all music and art for each release.

'Music Box' is an unusual track, based around a beautiful orhcestral arrangment scored by Jean-Luc himself, the track weaves in and out of progressive trance production featuring crisp hats, sprinkles of melodic arpeggios and some neat stutter fx.

Solarswarmer Mystro has come up with a surprising down tempo lounge mix, slow-mo breaks, strings, horns and rhodes stabs are all present creating an atmosphere not a million miles away from some seedy 70's movie soundtrack.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Solarswarm is a fantastic record label that has always big surprises in its pocket for us. The original Music Box is a driving prolifting trancer with a quite romantic theme that is merging so well with the bouncy balearic tribal trance style beats. It is definitely an unusual journey but I believe that the risk is worth it as Im always open for new adventurus ideas that new artists want to express themselves. Mystro version is one of those loungy style tracks that is mesmerizing and will definitely put you in romantic mood daydreaming and relaxing creating in your mind many different colorful mental images. Its worth check it out!
