Longing for a soothing, strong progressive trancer? The follow-up to Fabio XB’s ‘Reflected’ lands on the S107 label!

Italy’s dance scene has found its flag bearer. Producer Fabio Carrara has been working himself up since 2007, kicking off with his Alex Bartlett alias and the many jewels that came along with it. Since 2009, he walked upon dance land under a name closer to his own, Fabio XB. Next to collabs with Lange, Yves De Lacroix, Micky Vi, Ronnie Play and Andrea Mazza, he unveiled his first solo release ‘Reflected’ in early summer of 2011. Now that the dust has started to settle and autumn is calling, Fabio XB presents a new ride to keep you warm: ‘Flash of Life’.

A deep, flowing melody rushes over as soon as ‘Flash of Life’ finds your ears. It feels like a deep dive into warm progressive, with rays of soothing vocals, electric elements and uplifting trance stabs after the break.

German producer Cressida gave this beauty a little extra push, touching the boundaries of trance and progressive with a mesmerizing remix.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Im very big supporter for Fabio XB as I love his productions. Pure melodic progressive trance goodness that in this case includes the heartouching and hairraising  vocals of Simona that sings about the value of life. Her voice sounds so innocent and pure and simply is combined so wonderfully with the electro bubbly trance beats that Fabio XB composed in his studio of wonders. There is also a dub mix but I guess you will agree with me that her voice is simply difficult to divide from the track tapestry. The package is so stunning that includes the top German producer Cressida on remix duties. Mathias aka Cressida add his proglifting chemistry and the experiment is successful as the result is a big room proglifting anthem with large synths to raise those hands in the air or even to grab your loved one and give them a big hug or if you wish a nice kiss too. Both versions will please clubbers but as it happens with S107 releases will be perfect to listen at home too. Imagine your afternoon at home drinking hot cup of tea and wondering around with your mind travelling upon the groovy waves of sounds. We love Fabio XB so full support on this top release.
