Soundprank has been wowing us with his distinctive piano-driven progressive works from the very beginning, with tracks such as “Captivated” and “The Far Side” destined to become Anjunadeep classics in the very near future. This latest EP showcases three exciting and brand-new tracks from the young Canadian producer.
First up is “The Time Machine”; packed with soothing, easy flowing soundscapes and poignant piano melodies that alternate and entwine with delicate synths, this is a delightful slow-burner to start things off.
“Beginnings” sees Soundprank injecting a little more tempo and energy, with a bristly, radiating synth line taking centre stage and then fading back to allow the splashes of piano to drift in before the two meld together seamlessly. A haunting and wistful piece, this is arguably one of Soundprank’s most richly melodic efforts to date.
“Timespan” brings things to a close. Underpinned by a cavernous, heavy-duty groove and filled with delicate, sprightly touches of piano, this track has a bit more punch to lift it into mid-set territory.

The Time Machine is perfect as a set opener as it serves perfectly as the right and exact opening track that will bring certain atmosphere and class and will warm you up. It moves like a mysterious train and will take you on a musical journey that you will experience soundscapes that you didnt even know that they exist at all. Beginnings continue on the same high class level with piano melody and plenty of nice grooves to start tapping your feet and getting hot for the big anthems. Finally the wonderful Timespan uses darker twisted basslines and upon this wiggly beat builds the melodic layers that lead on a beautiful small breakdown and then the track flows like a feather in the wind moving here and there..Emotional and involving sounds that will touch you a little bit deeper. Absolutely essential progressive EP.
