1.Change The World (Original Mix)
2.Change The World (Steve Haines Remix)
One of the 17 strong originals from his debut album ‘M(You)sic’, is Eco’s new single ‘Change The World’. And changing the world he has. Under his Eco moniker, New-York resident Marcello Pacheco has helped shaping today’s dance land scenery, with tracks such as ‘Light At The End’, ‘Borealis’ and ‘Lost Angeles’. His sound defines itself as ‘melodic gold’ and that’s exactly what his debut album is all about. ‘Change The World’ is the next piece of music to reveal what this talented producer is made of.
On this journey, he invited upcoming singing talent Radmila Markidonova. This Russian lady, a finalist of Russia’s ‘X-Factor’ tv show, was one of the winners of the Armada Singing Competition in July 2010 and amongst the many requests of producers wanting to work with her, was Eco. And so, their collaboration was born. ‘Change The World’ is deep and mysterious, rousingly energetic but soothingly progressive at the same time, as it touches you with the powerful yet soothing voice of Radmila. Another outstanding original from the Eco studios.
UK producer Steve Haines, who recently remixed Max Graham’s ‘F.Y.C.’, now takes charge of ‘Change The World’. His remix is light, slightly uplifting and fuses progressive with house.
Dimitri Kechagias review: We did a great interview with Dj Eco and I was very satisfied from his excellent answers as I was with his top album that contains only precious jewels of Electronic Dance Music. Change the World deserve to get release as a single because contains all the right lurring elements to become another stunning ASOT trance classic. Of course the main part of this track is the magical and really mesmerizing voice of Radmila who really stands out with her stunning performance. The track follows the floating prog trance style and on the breakdown reveals the big room distorted ravey like synthy riff perfect to drive mad all the trancers in this world and outer space too. Great music that can certainly at least for some minutes can change the world we all inhabit. Steve Haines is another great talent coming on board. I would expect an uplifting version for this but I guess the whole idea is to keep the great atmosphere of the original and Steve Haines manage to built a driving thumping version with choped vocal effects, playful groovy prog trance basslines, beautiful melodic layers and additional full use of the vocal as well. The result is an out of our heads accoustic experience. Superb release and highly recommended! Its Lovely!
