REVIEW: Rea Garvey- Can't Stand The Silence incl. official music video

1-The Timewriter remix
2-Paul van Dyk remix

Rea Garvey (formerly known as singer and frontman for the rock band Reamonn)  he decided to venture, a musical solo career. The result is his solo album "Can not Stand The Silence," which will appear in late September this year.

Rea Garvey has followed his heart to where it just felt good and right. Whether in Nashville's Saloon, New York's bars on the beach in Miami or gone underground in London's nightclub scene. "I've let everything live deliberately, to find out where my  limits are."

Can't Stand the Silence is the first single taken from the album with the same title and  is co-produced with Andy Chatterly - which his previous collaboration with world stars such as Kylie Minogue, Kanye West or the Pussy Cat Dolls already earned a Grammy nomination. Took only three or four hours to provide the song finished, Rea Garvey says: "This song combines everything I love about music SunRock, electronica, a large chorus and finally a text to which I am very proud. "

Musically Rea Garvey walks   with this solo album in totally new paths. Songs like "Colder" or "Yesterday" from the last album "Eleven" already showed a clear tendency for the new musical experimentation and now his new single "Can not Stand The Silence" make his new music direction concrete. Since there are electronic influences, and everything is somehow rougher-edged than usual when he was part  of Reamonn.

It's great idea to refresh our memories with his collaboration with Paul van Dyk for the awesome Let Go.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Rea Garvey is one of the finest musicians with wonderful dark voice and great talent to write songs that can touch each every single human in their hearts and souls. His brand new track is definitely another testament of his ability to be right at the forefront delivering music for global audiences. Can't Stand the Silence will be in the lips of many clubbers and music lovers within the next weeks. The single comes with two outstanding remixes that will become firm favorites for many A league and not only djs worlwide. First of all the awesome Paul van Dyk who returns after some absence with an outstanding remix that is full on uplifting trancer with powerful beat, the well known fat bass and his amazing talent to add that sparkle of lovely synthy stabs to elevate his audience in the next level. He meets artistically Rea after their collaboration on Paul van Dyk's latest album for the international smash hit Let Go.  I actually experience Paul van Dyk playing this remix live in his Nature One 2011 performance and i could see many happy faces dancing with this. On the other side the exceptional and high quality tech house guru The Timewriter delivers a really deep but funky and twisted version that will make you swing and shout for sure. You will love the dirty filthy filtered basslines, the tribalish beat and the distorted vocals. Hot release that will satisfy the house and the trance fans alike.
