The long wait is finally over. After months of preparation, deliberation, mastering and testing, ‘A Little Louder’ – single number 1 from Kid Massive’s debut long player – is ready to drop! With great plans and expectations in the pipeline, the Kid steps back into the limelight with the first cut from what will be a stunning debut album.

Let’s start from the top. With vocalist Peyton begging listeners to “turn things up a little louder” and Kid Massive adding the punch with his trademark funk-fused bass and blissful melodic flair, the original mix is a perfect indication of the Kid’s exceptional creativity and unmatched studio capabilities. As the delectable duo combine forces to deliver a tantalising teaser of the delights we have in store for the rest of the album, there can be no doubting that the Kid is back to his very best.

Of course there is more. An immaculate remix package from TV Rock, Muzzaik and Damian William bolsters the already impeccable original offering with healthy diversity, as each of the three leave their own unique stamp on proceedings. With build-ups and breakdowns of epic proportions aplenty, the monumental ‘TV Rock’ remix is a secret weapon sure to ‘wow’ even the most discerning of house-heads. Following this, Muzzaik leaves his own delightful interpretation as bouncing bottom lines are coupled off with whirring synths and choppy vocals. Damian William offers the final perspective as he sprinkles ‘A Little Louder’ with his distinctive proggy edge and techy gab; this wholesome package offers a slice for all. Catch the whole lot on Beatport from 20th June!

One thing is certain; Kid Massive is back and on the form of his life. This upbeat summer anthem has class written all over it and is a worthy tone-setter for what will become dance music’s freshest must-have album. The remixes aren’t half bad either…

Dimitri Kechagias review: Kid Massive is considered as one of the brightest hopes in the house music scene and his forthcoming album will definitely do the difference if we believe our ears with the first cranky chunky new single “ A Little Louder”. The extended version is a big room floor feeling booty moving tune with the lovely Peyton adding a really sexy and heaven sent vocal that takes you straight away in the middle of the hot summer dancefloor. Particularly the main break with “A Little Louder” vocal and the large epic synthy stabs is guaranteed to bring instant euphoria and gratification on any male or female clubber. The remix package is so large that will be too heavy to handle in your digital collection. First of all, the always reliable TV Rock who delivers a big epic house monster size of a tune with big room lead, funky basslines and in the breakdown get ready to feel the heat with massive epic synths and the melody that will be impossible to resist, and not dance till to reach the ceiling or if you wish the sky in your open air summer club. Muzzaik adds that Italian tech house style version that we know by producers like Stefano Noferini. Really driving energetic tech house that doesn’t apply large synths but the whole composition is so driving and intense that will be hard not to cause a floor hysteria. Bassjackers enter the proceedings with a massive dirty dutch nu rave big room style mix full of effects that will please all the show off djs and the ladys dancing half naked in the bar. If you ask me at the end of this mix indifferent boys and girls will be with less clothes as possible ready for the night swim in the warm Mediterranean sea. Lastly Damian William in his eight minutes long mix provides an epic progressive house sound that is destined to push the release on the next level. Its an unstoppable dance machine that will please those who like bouncy beats, driving basslines and big melodic synthy stubs to create the ultimate summer festival experience. Overall is a single that will please clubs and I can imagine the radio edit taking very easily a place in the daytime schedule of the pop dance radio stations.
