Andain is back from never having been away with her brand spanking new single “Promises”, released on the Black Hole imprint.

With “Promises”, Andain gives everyone in the EDM scene a future classic, ‘cause this is definitely going to be a hit single for the books. The initial promos that were spread amongst a small collective of DJs gained immediate momentum, especially after big time hitters like Ferry Corsten, Armin van Buuren, Marco V and Above & Beyond supported the single in various remixes in their live sets, podcasts and radio shows. The trademark sound of Andain’s voice once again fits like a glove with the production and adds a fragile, say angelic, touch to the entire song and it’s the combination with the beats, the synths and the strings leading to a one of a kind break that gives “Promises” its strength. Part 1 of the single release contains the Gabriel & Dresden remix as it was played by Armin van Buuren and that was voted record of the week by Above & Beyond; the Nitrous Oxide remix that Ferry Corsten still hammers in his live sets and the version by Myon & Shane 54, that was voted future favourite by Armin van Buuren’s fans. Dimitri Kechagias review: This is definitely the summer of Black Hole recordings and this is official and well proved if we consider the outstanding releases scheduled to come out this summer and dominate clubs and radio stations. After the massive return of Allure another hit project that went even in the mainstream pop radio stations charts returns with a quality single that many people will sing a long like me I guess all over the globe indifferent of gender, skin color or ethnicity. I personally feel that “ Promises” is the best choice to be the return single by Andain that Beautiful Things is considered as an all-time dance classic. Andain wisely came back in full force for an album that will be discussed by music critics and will be danced by many clubbers worldwide. The track has that star quality in it that Black Hole decided to release it over 2 separate parts. Part 1 includes some fantastic mixes. Firstly Gabriel and Dresden composed a beautiful mesmerizing version definitely with indie rock edge and warm atmosphere that I can imagine many djs playing it in the early morning hours to finish off in the best possible and memorable way their performance. Myon & Shane 54 provide another quality remix and keep their reputation really high with a bit rougher remix than their usual sound and definitely proglifting trance at its finest. Great idea to add an intro mix for those who would like to do a grand dramatic opening with it. Nitrous Oxide that has left behind his uplifting days goes proglifting too with techy and electro glitzy beats to energize the trancefloors. On both mixes, Andain voice sounds powerful and absorbing that you can even feel those great hands playing the track in the piano live along with the dj. Its excellent release and hit status guaranteed.

Dimitri Kechagias review Part 2: The summer of Black Hole continues with the 2nd part of Andain hit single including some fantastic alternative mixes that will appeal in different dancefloors. Marco V who is a real legend delivers a powerful uplifting prog house meets trance version that is impossible not to blow many roofs and as it sounds wide range of djs are adopting it for their house or trance sets. Richard mix that was part of his album stands out because of its immense energy, the tribal tech trance beats and the dirty basslines. Really big room tech trance sounds and great use of the vocal with outstanding breakdown and even larger big climax in the main part full of melodic goodness. Kris who always amazes us delivers a smashing driving prog trance alternative that is a bit darker and low profile but equally right on the spot. Soundprank goes all the way to the melodic prog trance version while Adam adds his dark hypnotic techno twist. David delivers an agressive prog trance version with great rocky dynamic main part to crank it up. Hit single guaranteed that deserves even placement in well known pop charts all over the globe.
