REVIEW: Blanka - Evolution incl. remixes out on Lost Language

Adam White and Adam Dowling - AKA Blanka - joined the Lost Language fold in 2012 with their debut single 'Red Earth', before outdoing themselves with their huge remix of Bernie Allens 'Ethereal Love' - and 2013 sees their return, with the aptly titled 'Evolution', another unique production that incorporates military snare rolls, acid lines and plucked balearic riffs.

Fresh from releasing his stunning album on GOA recordings, we're thrilled to have Ainur on remix duties with a production that utilises the main riff to great effect, while adding an extra layer of drive to proceedings.

Amir Abbasi, who has a release of his own forthcoming on Lost Language, rounds off the package with a clever rework that slows things down and trips things out, giving the package a whole new flavour.

So an evolution in both style and content, as we collectively slither out of the primordial trance soup.

The Lost Language Petri dish.

Dimitri Kechagias review: When you notice the Lost Language established and well known logo you expect the highest quality productions and most advanced too. The latest one is definitely one of those releases that will be noticed and remain in the A rotation of your digital collection for long. Adam White and Adam Dowling - AKA Blanka deliver their progressive trancer Evolution that combines elements of deep, progressive, acid and melodic trance into one explosive content. Its trippy, greedy, dirty and very shinning and melodic at the same time. Its always intriguing to find within any track opposite emotions and feelings to co-exist in a very balanced and harmonious way. The remix package can not get any better as Ainur transforms the original into a brilliant hybrid of psy trance and melodic trance that makes it appropriate for both type of trance camps. The well known psy trance energetic basslines work perfectly with sweet piano melodies on top. Amir Abbasi is the final painter who redesigns in his own very special way the track. Really deep and sparkling with moody basslines, cinematic atmospheres and classic synthy melodies to lift our emotions a little bit higher. Love iT!
