REVIEW: Moonbootica - These Days Are Gone incl remixes out on Moonbootique Rec.

Moonbootica like their disco almost a little bit louder than everybody else’s. And their new album »Shine« (release date: June 13th) is naturally no exception. Once again, the internationally renowed Hamburg duo of KoweSix and Tobitob turn that electronic dial a notch and a half further. Their regal motto: »Ask not what the party can do for you – ask what you can do for the party.« Out on 06.06, the single »These Days Are Gone« is not, as the title might suggest, a swan song for the Moonbootica qualities we know and love – a sweet British lady offers everyday tips as the drums blissfully bash out the rhythm.

The dulcet tones of said lovely Brit can also be heard on a handful of »These Days Are Gone« remixes.

Surrender! from Istanbul habitually release on Canadian DJ maestro A-Trak’s emporium of good taste Fool’s Gold Records, launching the listener into an electronic dreamworld. A Chordashian remix from the Brooklyn duo of Michael Banks & Felix Feygin gads about the house, as does the TagTeam Terror mix from the Moonbootique family gathering. PWNDTIAC take a rather more leisurely approach – the Leipzig act has released an EP on the Parisian label Work It Baby, as well as on Hamburg’s We Love This. Nevertheless, his »These Days Are Gone« remix still ticks all the boxes of finest electronic dance music. Would we expect anything less?

Dimitri Kechagias review: The top Moonbootica from Hamburg, Germany deliver always the finest tunes. Their latest new release is called These Days Are Gone and will surprise the fans who were waiting something more stompy and aggressive. They move instead in the more melodic prog house meets deep house direction with fantastic sweet female vocals that will crawl under your skin and talk to your heart straight away. Cordashian Remix is a really sweet melodic deep house version that is relaxing, chill out and loungy enough to play in your set and listen at home while you relax after a hard day at the office. Surrender! Remix goes the indie dance/electronic direction and manage to lock you in its funky groove really easy. Tagteam Terror Remix is the dreamy deep and very sweet melodic version that is perfect to chill out and dance with wide smile in your face. Great percussion, feel good groove, deep basslines and cool piano riffs along with classic house organ melody. Very enjoyable remix without doubts. PWNDTIAC Remix fantastic deep blissful indie dance version will move, shake, hypnotise and give you happiness on the dancefloor. Summer Anthem Alert! #PureGold Love it
