3. Satellites (Jenya Solid Remix)
4. Blueprint (Original)
Alex O’Rion presents his new “Satellites & Blueprint” EPon the Black Hole imprint.
Last year turned out to be very successful for Alex O'Rion, a period that marked a revolutionary epoch in the career of the Dutch DJ/Producer. He signed with one of the U.K.’s foremost DJ agencies, successfully initiated his new radio show/podcast and became head of A&R for Black Hole’s Terminal 4 label. Needless to say that Alex also harvested high acclaim with his debut artist album “The Bigger Room”. O’Rion’s unique audio equation first caught the attention of the world’s top-tier of DJs and encouraged from the start by the musically likeminded Richard Durand, he began to lay the foundations for his first long-player. Recently the man presented the single "Letters from Jupiter" and now it’s time for “Satellites” and “Blueprint”.
Both tracks showcase the enticing way of producing from the O’Rion studios. Once again boasting creative arrangements with plenty of tech-trance on the progressive tip, both “Satellites” and “Blueprint” offer superb climax tracks for every DJ. The remixes by Thomas Coastline and Jenya Solid all rework the original extended into their own trademark floorfillers. Time to look forward to a new Alex O’Rion album!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Alex O'Rion is a magnificent talent that produces trancers perfect for the big rooms with unforgettable melodic themes. Its not matter of luck that both Satellites and Blueprint are included on Richard Durand's ISOS vol 10 legendary mixed compilation. Now its the time for their full length release along with quality remixes as well. Satellites is a beautiful progressive trancer with distinctive melody and tasty infusions of tech and electro too. Travelling and energetic at the same time is a very danceable trance anthem. Thomas Coastline service his very powerful remix that is proglifting trance at its very best. The breakdown is long and atmospheric as we love it to be and the climax is playful, twisted and euphoric too. Quality production that keep you locked within its amazing soundscape. Jenya Solid remix is quite experimental as its starts in a great progressive trance style and then in the breakdown goes dubstep and finishes in a playful deep progressive trance sound. If you like to surprise your audience drop this very unconventional version. Last track on the EP is the original version of Blueprint. Alex did his magic tricks in his studio to compose a melodic travelling progressive trancer that combines balearic trance elements like sun shinning blissful melancholic melodies in the breakdown, with tech influences. It will transfer your mind to many places so press play and let the magic happen on your dancefloor. Love IT!
