ADE 2016: Join the conversation at ADE Beats

Hear and discuss what dance and hip-hop industries can learn from each other at Melkweg on Friday October 21.

After the recent announcements about Escape and the Hard Dance Event we shift our attention towards ADE Beats, the conference focused on hip-hop bass and beats. The event will host a packed and exciting panel discussion on what the hip-hop and dance industries can learn from each other.

In this panel we will research the opportunities in both industries and how the respective scenes can benefit from each others experiences. We are looking to learn from eachother on issues like promotion, distribution, creating an international fanbase, consumer engagement and interaction, innovation, dealing with disruptions in the industry and all other relevant topics. Join the discussion!

Confirmed speakers at this panel include:
Watse de Jong (Watse Matter) who co-manages Martin Garrix
Massimo Baudo (Mass Management), management Mr. Probz
Siofra McComb (The Other Hand, UK), who represents Stones Throw, Mass Appeal Records, Daptone Records and more as label manager in Europe
Michael Perrow (electronic music label Monstercat, Canada)
Justin Hendrik (future R&B-label Maktub Music/Armada Music)
Other confirmed speakers at ADE Beats include electronic music pioneer Hudson Mohawke, Harvard University’s Wayne Marshall, hip-hop legends Kurtis Blow and DJ Jazzy Jeff, Soulection-massive, Chuckie, Om'Mas Keith and many others. ADE Beats takes place October 21st at Melkweg, Amsterdam. For 25 euro you can attend the full conference. Also accessible for 1- & 5-day ADE conference ticket holders.
