REVIEW: Andre Sobota - Survivor out on Armada Trice

Building effortlessly from humble beginnings, Andre Sobota’s ‘Survivor' is a lesson in how intros should be done.

Keeping deep emotions at the forefront, this subdued and melancholic beauty is pure class through and through.

Sobota brings together synths and organic drums for a feeling ripe for a São Paulo night.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Armada Trice represents the true sense of the word progressive music indifferent if you call it house, trance or even techno. Armada Trice is true exploration of the boundaries of what we term as progressive that for me stands for every style that advances music composition and arrangement by freaking out genre purists and opening new ground for more artists to follow. Adre Sobota presents the track Survivor that reflects in its content the very strong title that is a statement without doubt. The word Survivor connotes optimism of managing to survive after some very hard situations and overcome difficulties and get out of this misery as a winner. The emotional synths blended perfectly with powerful relentless drums, pounding deep driving basslines, echoed vocal samples in the very background and hi-nrg disco synths that straight away add some positive paints in our life and make us feel as survivors. Beautiful emotional breakdown allows the body and senses to float in the warm waves and loose ourselves in music until the energetic drum kicks back to carry on our journey without even moving a step. Armada Trice should be nominated as label of the year at IDMA awards. #PureGold Love It
