Dimitri Kechagias review: The always on great form Russian producer EDU comes back to impress us once again with his latest offering Step in Time. The original mix carries on the well established by now EDU characteristic style that is a fusion of progressive trance with progressive melodic Deadmau5 style house. It has drive, intensity, continuous progression but at the same time is quite laid back summery and very atmospheric. Particularly in his breakdown EDU did a marvelous job with his colorful melodies, lovely synths and strings and the overall feel good optimistic approach that brings together variety of influences to create his own magical world. His Tech remix is the perfect choice for a big room set that is deep bass focused with electro trance dirty twists and some melodic rays of the original theme. If you go for darker less melodic more bouncy sets this is your version. Personally I feel that I can do my Step in Time in his Original mix.
