REVIEW: Hard Rock Sofa & Skidka - Arms Around Me incl Chocolate Puma remix on WePLAY

We’re continuing to usher in the groove to the main rooms, but this time adding a major slice of funk to bring the fun back to the dancefloor (and actual dancing!) With an unmistakable KC & Sunshine band sample, Hard Rock Sofa & Skidka have looked back, to create something truly fresh!

Anyone lucky enough to attend Departures at Ushuaia, Ibiza last year would have heard an early incarnation of this track, accompanied by live percussion performed by Axwell himself.

And also this season „Arms Around Me“ was one of the most played peak time tracks on Ibiza and around the globe.

With only a limited promo ahead of its release, dance music's elite are already onboard with the likes of Hardwell, Alesso, Arty, Avicii, Fatboy Slim and many more!

Radio 1's Zane Lowe & Danny Howard put it best... Danny Howard: „It is so good! It's so big! It's big room house but it's fresh, it sounds new, it's exciting" – Zane Lowe: „That track is massive. I love that, I think if it connects, and it will, that could definitely usher in a more groove orientated era!"

On top Chocolate Puma have injected a large dose of acid to this disco-sampling anthem!

What a bomb!

No surprise that the top league loves their remix, too.

Supported by David Guetta, Steve Angello, Martin Solveig, Chuckie, Thomas Gold, Nicky Romero, Arfrojack, and so on...

Dimitri Kechagias review: Music is moving with the speed of light and big room goes through a major transformation. The new trend in the dance scene at the moment seems to be a mixture of big room driving beats and heavy basslines along with disco house samples. Hard Rock Sofa & Skidka collaboration Arms Around Me that was firstly released on Axtone and now on WePLAY in Germany will blow the speakers and ignite the global audience with its magic glow, energy and infectious groove. The remix duties are handed on the safe and trusted hands of Chocolate Puma. The beloved house Dutch duo attacks the floor with heavy punchy bassline, bouncy dirty groove, twisted drum programming while on top they add surprisingly enough acid layers and heavy dose of disco samples. The result is so danceable that you can not believe your own ears. When you see Chocolate Puma on the credits you can guess that something good is included inside. #PureDiscoPower Love IT
