REVIEW: Tonerush - Gorilla Tour out on Monster Tunes

1-Original mix
2-Radio edit

Tonerush AKA George Krasnas, is welcomed to Monster Tunes with an electric debut that kick starts 2013 with a bang! No stranger to the scene, George has been steadily building a reputation for solid, classy productions in recent years having already had music released on legendary Dutch label Black Hole Recordings.

Built upon a rock solid base of chunky beats and a huge chugging bassline, 'Gorilla Tour' is a driving and melodic affair that seamlessly blends aspects of uplifting, tech and electro trance. The main melody is big and so is the drop! 'Gorilla Tour' encompasses the 'sound of trance in 2012' championed by big hitters such as Markus Schulz and Gareth Emery!

This one's a complete animal!

Dimitri Kechagias review: 2012 was a magnificent high quality year for Monster Tunes and its sublabels. The legendary UK trance label delivered this year unforgettable tracks and for that reason many well known compilations include more than just one or two releases of the label that searches for the sounds that modern trancefloors demands. The talented Greek producer Tonerush with releases on top labels make his grand entrance to Monster Tunes for the big room sound that we all adore and is the main sound of the clubs and festivals. Pumping beats, energetic rough basslines, cool melodic layers and of course its main component is that huge synthy lead in the breakdown that is not extremely happy. Its rather dark, sinister, greedy but able to  move clubbers without compilations. It will attract them like magnet on the dancefloor and after trapping them and securing its victims will let them loose it on the trancefloor doing the Gorilla Dance. It will be a sure choice on the club tours of many Gorilla size trance djs this winter. Love iT!
