REVIEW: Woody Van Eyden - 10.5 incl. Thomas Datt remix on Discover Digital

1-Original Mix
2-Thomas Datt's Full 11 Remix

Woody van Eyden has a musical CV that most people can only dream of. His productions have featured on the decks of all the worlds A list DJ's, appearing on numerous compilations and albums making him one of the best known names in the business.

His close relationship with Discover was forged at the very beginning so when we wanted an exclusive track to celebrate our 10th anniversary year Woody delivered an epic bomb of a track that was exclusively showcased at our 10.5 Brighton party at the end of 2011.

With Woody you get a guarantee of quality and yet again he doesn't dissappoint with this full on peak time bomb!!

Thomas Datt delivers the remix and he is on fire right now working around the clock to finish his eagerly awaitied debut artist album!

We are delighrted that he was able to take a little time away from the project for this remix and he has delivered an absolute belter to finish this anniversary package perfectly!

Dimitri Kechagias review: The prolific and influential dj and producer Woody Van Eyden from Germany despite being Dutch comes to Discover Digital with a prime time weapon ready to drop it without traces of mercy in your solid uplifting trance set. Woody is such a creative mind that never stays on the same patterns or sounds. He likes to experiment and present always different and exciting tracks. For Discover anniversary Woody delivers the manic tech trancer 10.5. Powerful and dynamic with techy basslines lead us on the breakdown that a huge psy trance influenced dark synthy riff is revealed to smash the club walls and soundsystems. When the tough rocking beat kicks back along with the synthy lead on top the track goes really mental and uncontrollable ready for an exciting sweaty hands in the air ride. There is no human being that will stay still when this will be played. It's a Party cracker guaranteed of course. The reliable Thomas Datt who always delivers the goods got the remix assignment and he turns the aggressive original into a cool uplifting trancer that is floating and flowing perfect for your prime time dj set needs. What really stands out is that  along with the blissful melodies he throws in some dark basslines as well that add some bittersweet taste to the final result. Two great versions to celebrate in an anthemic way one of the most influential trance labels at the moment. Love It!
