REVIEW:Prayag & Rishab - Roshni out on Black Hole

1. Original
2. Dub
3. Dave Schiemann’s Trouse Revenge

Prayag & Rishab present their new single on the Black Hole imprint, entitled “Roshni”.

The Indian producer duo delivered another beauty with vocal influences from their home country with their new track “Roshni”. Call it the Prayag & Rishab sound, ‘cause it’s true that the guys once again managed to create an incredible drive based on crisp and big beat programming in combination with a rough rolling bassline and all of it works incredibly well with the synths and strings used. Add to that the haunting vocals and before you know it you’ll see your audience’s massive response when you put this on during your live set. It’s during the break that the superb arrangement and choice of synth sounds comes to full bloom; a killer hands in the air moment. Also listen how the tracks rises after the break; it’s almost as if “Roshni” reaches for the sky.

For the instrumentalists the package features the pumping dub version and if you plan a more tech trance / hard trance performance, you will totally dig Dave Schiemann’s Trouse Revenge. His version is a hard hitting rendition of the original. One thing is for sure: “Roshni” by Prayag & Rishab will most definitely kick ass!

Dimitri Kechagias review: The brilliant duo from India, a wonderful country of mysticm, unexplored beauties and Bollywood movies of course, provide another excellent progressive trancer that will be an invitation for each and every single listener to explore the Indian culture as this is reconfigured through the western electronic dance music soundz. The original mix has a smooth floating composition with electro and house elements in place and a very  long atmospheric cinematic breakdown with piano melody and ambient sounds that really elevate the spirit to a higher level. The Indian vocal sounds great and really adds a totally different dimension to the whole already magical composition. Of course for those who dont feel in vocal mood there is the dub version as well. On the other side Dave Schiemann adds to the track the big room clubby edge with tougher tighter sharper beats, electro tech basslines that lead to the breakdown that opens with the Indian vocal. The really classy version continues with the large synthy section that hands will be definitely in the air and the light jockey will do his part with intense strobe lights and lazer effects. The main part is very energetic and driving adding a really playful atmosphere to keep the bodies working had on the floor till there is no more sweat to come out from their bodies. If you like fat stomping beats this is your version. Great package to satisfy the various trance subgenres.
