REVIEW: Twax feat. Solomina - Movin On out on The Bearded Man / Armada Music

xXx420_YoLoSWAG_xXX asks: “Does The Bearded Man have parents!?” Well, Mr. Swag, the answer is a resounding yes. Papa Bearded Man was a brick layer from Brooklyn — a 2 pack of cigarettes and 6 pack of beer a day kinda guy.

Big momma Man was a sweet character, like one of the models from the Home Shopping Network in a bygone era, over-the-top hairspray, perm and all. Indeed, these salt o' the earth folk can hardly be blamed for The Bearded Man’s awesomeness. Amicable though they were, they certainly didn’t exhibit the spark of brilliance that makes The Bearded Man who he is.

When our hero left home, he bid them farewell and set out on his lifelong quest for sun and ultimate sexiness.

‘Movin On’… He got his first big break when he met Twax and Solomina and the rest, as they say, is history.

Dimitri Kechagias review: 2014 was a mindblowing year for The Bearded Man with massive hits and recognition all over the planet. The first release for 2015 is Movin on by Twax featuring Solomina. It is a blissful glossy melodic deep house beauty with chunky lazy playful grooves, funky bubbly basslines, acid jazz influences and of course brilliant performance by Solomina.  With retro vintage touches of disco and funk, summery balearic infusions and feel good warmth in its texture Movin On is one of those tracks that you can play on repeat mode for hours without feeling bored. Particularly Solomina has that very international star quality tone in her voice and gives you the impression that you listen a well known pop star. The lyrics will resonate to many people's lives and is not difficult to see why thousands around the planet will feel moved, touched and will identify with the story that Solomina sings on this highly eclectic classy deep house meets electronic beauty. Great asset of the track the male vocal repeating on crucial moments: I'm Sexy. #PureGold Love It
