REVIEW: Avicii - Lay Me Down incl Black Coffee remix on Avicii Music AB / PRMD / Universal Music AB

Chart-topping Avicii released in May, the fifth single, "Lay Me Down" from his acclaimed by critics and audiences album True, which has sold to date already over 1.5 million times. With True Avicii already confirmed his status as one of the true superstars of dance music: "Wake Me Up" was the fastest selling single of 2013 and soared in incredible 84 countries at the top of the charts, and also the successor "You Make Me "and" Hey Brother "secured places in the top ten.  August 12 appears" Lay Me Down "now as a remix of the South African House Music pioneer" Black Coffee ", who won  the 2013 South African Music Award for" Best Dance Album".

The track drives the extraordinary fusion of acoustic and electronic sounds - now Aviciis trademark - even further and spread with its rousing, fast disco rhythms and the powerful, anthemic vocal chorus intensive club atmosphere.

Aviciis songs already over 1 billion times were streamed worldwide, 16 weeks could hold his tracks at the top of the German airplay charts. With "Lay Me Down" (Black Coffee Remix) Swedish top DJ from Ibiza to Miami now conquers the dancefloors of the world.

Dimitri Kechagias review: It's always fantastic experience to watch AVICII performing Live and his performance at the 2nd weekend of Tomorrowland was simply incredible. His latest single Lay Me Down featuring Nile Rodgers and Adam Lambert on vocal duties slowly builds a huge following and now is offered with additional remixes. The Original starts with the characteristic Nile Rodgers disco guitar licks and develops into a magnificent feel good anthem that merges progressive house, disco house and even country influences. The result is a truly versatile track that will become easily part of your every day life and will stay there for long. The lyrics are absolutely to the point and will be hard not to identify with them while you sweat and dance on the dancefloors of the world.  First new remix comes from Black Coffee and I must stress that his remix blow me away with the amazing tribal drums, deep haunting basslines, guitar licks and that dark and dangerous atmosphere that simply transcends you to another faraway place. You just close your eyes and you let the floating soundwaves along with Adam's exceptional vocals to guide you. Quality from the very start till the end sounds the most appropriate version to highlight the inner strengths of this inspiring track that proves that pop can be art and art can be pop too. Second top  remix is Avicii by Avicii will appeal to the very first fans of Avicii who liked a lot his dreamy melodic breakdowns followed by euphoric hands in the air uplifting drop! #PureDiamond Love IT
