The 10 Years Diynamic Compilation is out everywhere today! The special anniversary record is here to celebrate a decade of the label’s existence with 13 brand new tracks from the artists of the DIY roster, including Solomun, Adriatique, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, H.O.S.H., Stimming, Karmon, NTFO, Thyladomid, Ost & Kjex, Magdalena, Johannes Brecht, Undercatt and Lehar.
It is now available digitally, in a 2CD box and as a limited 3LP collector’s edition with white vinyl and a customizable front cover.
The year 2016 has already been a big celebration for the Diynamic Family. The novel 10 Years Diynamic events, at which the label’s artists take over multiple clubs of one city for an extended weekend each, have already caused quite a stir in Berlin, Ibiza and Zürich, while Amsterdam, Paris, London, Hamburg and North America are yet to follow.
But next to parties, Diynamic is all about the music, which is why September 16th will see the release of the very special 10 Years Diynamic Compilation, a record with 13 brand new productions by all their artists to celebrate a decade of the label’s motto: “Do It Yourself”.
DIY: A simple idea, rooted in the wish to change the predominant principles and to do something in one’s own way.
For 10 years now Diynamic – the artist collective surrounding label father Solomun – acts true to this calling. Since 2006 it’s all about releasing, partying, thinking ahead and doing it yourself. Born in the heart of Hamburg’s St. Pauli neighbourhood, now home in virtually every corner of the world, with own Diynamic Festivals on multiple continents, worldwide Diynamic Showcases and several successful residencies on Ibiza.
Anyone who has met Diynamic mainstays will know that there is a close bond between them, a bond that not only exceeds that of label mates, but resembles the qualities of family members. This means that this anniversary is not just a jubilee of artists sharing a common musical belief, but a decade of close friendships.
