2 - Kestrel (Redstar 1.0 Remix)
The first release of 2012 comes from American-born talent Nathan Kozlowski, better known as Falcon. After delivering an impressive remix of Redstar's "The Surface" last year, we are glad towelcome him back for a single release.
"Kestrel" is a no-frills uplifting trancer that ticks all the right boxes. Driving synths, pumping drums, acids galore, topped off with a beautiful soaring lead, all of which flow perfectly from start to finish.
On remix duties and returning the favor is Redstar, who adds a modern-yet-oldschool feel. With lush pads, hypnotic hooks and a new theme, Red takes the track in a rather different direction.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Red Force recordings is one of the finest indepedent trance record labels in USA and their releases are big hits in the trance scene. Its time for the first release in 2012 that comes from the hands of the very able and fantastic upcoming producer Falcon with his stunning Kestrel. The original mix is an uplifting trance beauty of the highest calibre with bouncy beats, driving basslines and wonderful melodic layers along with heavenly style vocals on top. The track has intensity, freshness and is pure and undiluted euphoria. The breakdown can not get any bigger with ambient sounds, guitar riffs and ravey style riff that is revealed slowly too build anticipation for the main part that is uplifting climax at its very finest. Its one of those moments that you wish human beings to have wings and fly from time to time without the need to get a flight. This great exercise in freedom continues with label boss Redstar who is extremely talented and he provides a longer but equally absorbing remix. It flows and floats really nicely without complications adopting the classic trance highway and driving his fast shining car with the speed of light! This is Trance as we Wanted To BE! Love It!
